Access 2007 FAQ

What happened to Data Access Pages? I can't seem to find a way to create new pages or edit existing ones in Access 2007.

Support for designing Data Access Pages does not exist in Access 2007. To maintain backwards compatibility, you can view existing data access pages created in earlier versions of Access with the MDB file format, as seen in the screenshot below, but you cannot edit existing pages or design new ones in Access 2007. This applies equally to the ACCDB or MDB file format. If you need to create or edit data access pages, you'll need to use Access 2003, Access 2002, or Access 2000.
