Access 2007 FAQ
How do you Compact and Repair a database in Access 2007? I can't seem to find this option in the Ribbon.
Follow these steps to run the Compact and Repair option in Access 2007:
1. Make a back-up of your database first - do NOT skip this step
2. Click the Microsoft Office Button in the upper left corner
3. Click the option called Manage
4. Slide over to the right fly out and select Compact and Repair Database, as seen in the following screenshot.
