Even if you're an expert using Access, you need this book to learn how to work in this new edition of the world's most popular desktop database. Zac's book is now available!

I'm pleased to report that Microsoft Office Access Program Manager Zac Woodall, a personal friend of mine I'm happy to say, has a new book on Access 2007 in stores now. Zac's book focuses on how to build Access Templates using the new Access 2007 program. He covers this topic from the ground up so if you want to know anything and everything about creating templates, this is definitely the book you want!

Here is a link to his book on Amazon:

The Rational Guide to Microsoft Office Access 2007 Templates (Rational Guides)

I'm in the process of reading my copy right now. Great job Zac!

Q: So why does your title now say MVP Alumni and not MVP? Were you fired?

A: No, nothing like that. Microsoft has a policy that if you're an employee of Microsoft, you can't be an MVP. After completing our book with John Viescas, I joined Microsoft as a full time employee. I am now a Software Design Engineer in Test working on the Access team. I dearly loved being a Microsoft Office Access MVP, but this opportunity was too good to pass up. I now have the incredible privilege of working with people, products, and technologies that I absolutely love.
